What We Do
At our schools, Astronomy is taught from Grade 3 to Grade 8 as a hands-on, curiosity-driven subject. With well-equipped Astronomy Labs across Orchids branches pan-India, students explore space concepts through practical activities and scientific observation.
Learning is enhanced through a 360° dome planetarium and overnight space camps, where students observe the real night sky using telescopes and identify constellations, planets, and deep-sky objects, turning Astronomy from a subject into an experience.

IOAO - Inter Orchids Astronomy Olympiad (Senior)
565 students registered, 37 qualified for Final Round, 23 students cleared the Final Round.
ISSO - Indian Space Science Olympiad (Junior)
36 registered, 19 appeared for Final. One student secured 5th Rank, three achieved Top 20 positions.
ISO - International Space Olympiad (Junior)
41 appeared for Elementary (one secured 30th Rank), 24 for Intermediate (five in Top 100), 7 advancing to Final in April.
ISO - International Space Olympiad (Senior)
20 appeared for Elementary (one secured 14th Rank), 8 for Intermediate (one in Top 20), 2 students secured 2nd and 3rd Rank.
NAC - National Astronomy Challenge
245 students registered for the examination, showcasing strong interest in astronomy challenges.
IOAA - Astronomy Drawing Competition
359 students participated, 10 students achieved various awards for their artistic representations of astronomical concepts.
