The Autonomous Sumo Bot represents the pinnacle of robotic combat engineering developed by our Advanced Robotics Team. This powerful, intelligent machine combines strategic AI algorithms with robust mechanical design to dominate opponents in the traditional Japanese sport of sumo wrestling, adapted for autonomous robots.
Built with a reinforced chassis and advanced sensor arrays, our Sumo Bot can analyse opponent movements, predict attack patterns, and execute winning strategies in real-time. The robot features high-torque motors for a powerful pushing force, gyroscopic stabilisation for balance, and an array of proximity sensors for precise opponent detection and ring awareness.

Our Technoxian World Cup Journey
The Technoxian World Cup 2025-26 brought together the finest autonomous sumo wrestling robots from across the globe. Our team faced fierce competition from over 200 participating teams representing top institutions from 15 countries, making this the most competitive sumo robotics tournament in the world.
What set our Autonomous Sumo Bot apart was its exceptional combination of power, strategy, and adaptability. During the preliminary rounds, our robot demonstrated superior tactical awareness and unmatched pushing force. The championship finals featured intense one-on-one battles where our bot's advanced AI algorithms proved decisive in reading opponent patterns and executing winning moves.
